asking? lol
Well you wanted direct information from the source, that is the best you'll get.
That's unfortunate. Thanks for all of your help.
I am confused haha, why is it unfortunate? I thought you were after legit info / source. Bit confused, sorry.
You are right of course. I was looking for legit info in regards to the most recent updates/concrete info about RCG's/community gateways. Based on your responses it appears that the "best i'll get" is to refer to Gilbert's quote, which of course is now over a quarter old and basically says "don't ask".
Here is a tidy response; RCG's are being tested in an internal environment. The team is very busy and priorities are constantly shifting. RCG's will come in time, but for now we have to sit tight.
I appreciate this response. One of the issues I was hoping to solve was removing the conjecture from the discussion and really focus on the information straight from Gilbert's mouth. So many people I think put words in Gilbert's mouth and that causes the disconnect as other people run with it assuming its correct. Basically one big game of internet telephone. I don't think anyone has the answers to my questions yet though, but I do appreciate your help nonetheless!
What are your other questions?
It was less about specific questions and more about providing clear info on a running theme (community gateways). My goal was to put Gilberts quotes specifically in a clear, concise, accurate, and more importantly verifiable way on an infographic that could be easily shared online in regards to the latest info regarding community gateways. But it appears the last quote on the topic from Gilbert was "please stop asking", which isn't as substantive as I'd hoped . To take it even further, I wanted to put commonly false repeated things (like Gateways would live before New Year Holiday or immediately after) and follow up with the actual quote that Gilbert had about it — as I think most of the disconnect is just people misunderstanding/misinterpreting or even just believing outright lies from random's on twitter.
