Before entering the treasury, didn't you read the documents that said the grace period can change later on. If you did read about it in docs, did you expect a pigeon to drop the updates to you if you aren't following the announcement channels?😅

People need more interest with higher risk factors but they can’t check hf on regular basis.

No, no pigeon is needed lol. But when a person signs up as a Kyc investor to a platform and invests in a leveraged position you don’t expect to be told later “oh wait, you didn’t follow one of or mods on Twitter for announcements? To bad for you that we took your money! Logging in once a day to check on account health should be sufficient. Missing a social media announcement should not be cause for liquidation. A serious platform is responsible for reliable communication to their Kyc customers who have invested thousands of dollars with them. If you can’t do that you cant in good conscious take people hard earned money unless there is a notification of some sort, people cannot be expected to log n every 3 hrs

A few reasons why traders make excuses Fear of change. Knowing that YOU are the one who is causing all the problems can be challenging because it means that you have to change who you are and how you do things. Nobody likes change. Fear of responsibility. Traders who use excuses give away the responsibility. They blame unfair markets, disadvantages and other outside circumstances. Not using excuses and taking full responsibility would mean that you are the one who is the cause of all your problems. Who is the one that chosen not to follow up on Updates & Changes. Who is the one that chosen the risk level. Not worried about change, as a crypto speculator you have to be very nimble as the rules and info on all the different tokens and chains are very dynamic. Please do not tell me that I am causing the problem by being scared of change, thats not helpful or constructive to the group. I did read all of the documents, I was aware that the grace period could change. My contention is that COTI made no attempt to make sure that I as a KYC investor (which you have to be for coti, so they have our emails for official announcements), knew about the change affecting the grace period. they relied on their investors checking different social media platforms and being aware of moderators posts, which can be easily missed on a site like twitter. I am fully aware that COTI will never do anything for me, all I am trying to do at this point is raise awareness so that COTI is able to do something in the future to prevent this from happening to others

I don't use multipliers but I agree with you. The way treasury was launched does not make sense at all. You should have an timer with the time that left to liquidation(this should be a must feature to launch, not something to add in the future). Change grace period from 24hrs to 6hrs only 1 month after launch does not make sense, it seems that this is already planned from the begining why not say that, instead of something like grace period could change in the future? Why not send an email to COTI users so they can know that this change occurs? Why not a message when people login in the Wallet(if this message has been displayed I don't remember).

We clearly communicated and released guides ahead of treasury. We're also working on more updates as we've also clearly communicated.

Thank you for the comment, those are my thoughts as well. Maybe it should not have applied to existing locked in account? Just ideas. it is unfortunate that it changed with out any direct communication to those who had locked holdings.

Yes, you did communicate and let us know that it could change in the future, we were all aware of that. Changing it so soon to only 6 hours was not expected. We are glad that you are working on more updates and changes, thats great news! Maybe you should not have rolled out liquidity multipliers so soon? At least not until you had a way of notifying those who were locked in that the grace period was changing? My worry is that you did have a way of doing it, but didn't. All treasury stakers are kyc, which means you have our email. When we are dealing with thousands of dollars you cannot expect a user to log in multipe times a day and check your twitter account to see if something is changing that day? again, glad you are working on changes and updates to make things better for other users. Unfortunate that so many got REKT do to a change that was only unoffically communicated.

Yes, you release guides thats not the problem. The problem is the treasury launch without some necessary features, a counter could not be that difficult to implement. And change the grace period to only 6h only one month later and with lack of communication, a mail or a warning in the trasury at least.
