you haven’t seen those, check em out. They’re exciting, they’re promising, they’re something else.
Speaking of something else, did you see the video iExec just dropped? The one teasing the community portal? Have you watched, shared, liked, commented, retweeted, and all of the social media actions that expand our reach? Our engaged community members have and so we’re asking you to, too.
The video means the community portal is right around the horizon, and the big feature (outside of an easy-to-use interface, a way to see your RLC stash, etc.) is community voting on community issues. No, we’re not turning into a DAO. Yes, we will be asking you to tell us how you feel about the community, what you want to see from the community, and other community related votes.
And we heard your feedback about community rewards - it seemingly dropped out of nowhere. So let this be a warning to you - the iExec Ambassador Program is coming.
Let me repeat - the iExec Ambassador Program is coming. Interested in promoting iExec? Want to gain valuable crypto experience but don’t know where to start? We’re making it easier than ever for you to link up with the team, see sneak peeks of products, offer valuable feedback, and a bunch load of other stuff. If this sounds like something you want to do, @ me or DM me. But be forewarned - there’s already a few people that are proactively contributing to promoting iExec from the goodness of their hearts, so there’s a very good chance they have a head start in being considered.
Roadmap: we’re still working on getting something to you about our vision, direction, obstacles to said vision and direction. ETA is by the end of the month, provided we 1. Get all the information together and 2. Get timely approval on language. I’ll continue pushing and keep everyone updated.
HUGE NEWS: Gilles and Dr. He are slated to come to the US in 2 weeks! I’m meeting him in San Francisco for two days to discuss how we can expand iExec presence in the US. Super stoked for this - shows the commitment of the team to broaden adoption and become more of a player in North America.
Also - we’re still working on completing the roadmap/glossary, updating partnership statues (statii?), and how to streamline onboarding new team members. Those are all in the pipeline. Big things coming in the next few weeks. As always, stay tuned.
Great update but we are staying tuned for so looooong…
This is somewhat true but patience usually pays off. Also, the team is advancing rapidly on community development and fulfilling what we ask for. There has been a huge progression in community involvement and updating us with the questions that we have. Good things take time. I believe with the team we have and the community we are developing, the future is very bright with this company.
As one of their community helpers, we have shifted the social metrics to the upside for iExec in the last three months!! Social Volume (+ 120.6 %) Social Engagement (+ 63.3 %) Social Dominance (+ 174.5 %) Shared Links (+ 130.3 %) Twitter Volume (+ 132 %) From now on, it will be different. Know that guys are working every day to make iExec adoption happen and promote the brand. Stay positive. Jon
Thanks @Alljackedup - it’s been a process, it’s taken time, and there’s been ups and downs but we as a community have come a very long way in a few months. Just taking a look at the metrics @jon_mcmlvii put together: awareness is growing. Our community has stepped up HUGE with social media. Meanwhile the team is building. We’ll continue to improve and update and all that good stuff.
