progressive coin as far as work ethic and development. I am wondering why certain aspects of progress are kinda slow, especially with potential ties into ADA? 1. USA users staking. 2. Ease of transfer on more CEX and DEX.
1. USA doesn't have clear regulations yet, so until they figure that out, COTI is staying away, as they want to stay compliant for every region from day 1 (they are focused on being the 1st fully compliant payment ecosystem) 2. The ERC20 token is listed on many exchanges. For the native token to get listed on exchanges, the exchange would need to host their own COTI node (like Huobi did) or use a special wallet (like Kucoin did) to be able to integrate the token in their exchange. It's way easier for an exchange to list ERC20 tokens, since most are already running their own ETH node. For the COTI trustchain/merchants system to work, they need to have a certain native token supply in circulation, so that is why the bridge is capped and closed often (since otherwise, there would be way more ERC20 tokens instead of native tokens in circulation and that would cause problems).
