Which is the best and most accurate?
The hexcalc one uses a static model, while the stakehex.today uses the parameters you give it to simulate a dynamic model, but obviously none can be right as none can predict future.
When starting a stake you receive 20% bonus shares for every year you stake up to a maximum of 200% bonus shares a 10 years. The APY in HEX terms is calculated daily based on the current percentage of the total supply staked. The higher percentage of the supply that's staked, the lower the APY will be. 50% of the penalties gets added to the daily payout as well.
I see. For estimating, what do you do for a reasonable idea? Figure with conservative variables and then cut the results by half to get a reasonable idea ya think?
The default settings on stakehex.today are pretty much the result of consensus from the hexperts here in regard to what daily payouts may look in the future. Just turn off the USD values and set on HEX. The USD value just adds additional uncertainties and confuse the heck out of the modeling.
