Hey, are you talking about Moonriver or Moonbeam?
The main thing is to make sure that the total bonded of the collator is not high and not low, somewhere in the middle, so that it does not fly out of the active set. well, also look at the min bond at your collator to be in the top 300 delegators. you need to pay attention to min bond, since only the top 300 delegators receive rewards. when the number of delegators is 300 (for each collator) , the minimum bond will be based on the most recent 300th delegator. https://stakeglmr.com/ - you can check all the data here https://moonbeam.network/tutorial/stake-glmr/ https://moonbeam.network/tutorial/choose-a-collator-on-moonbeam-and-moonriver/ all collators are safe, they do not have access to your funds, there is no slashing, the only thing that can happen is that the collator can be knocked out of the active set and you will stop receiving rewards. but you will be able to revoke and withdraw your funds in 7 days.
Thanks mate however, this is the most confusing thing i have read about staking for any project. I have no clue what this means. Looking at the list here, how does one determine what is too high and what is too low and what exactly is being in the top 300 mean? Effective bonded is between 1.4 and 4m GLMR. Minimum bond range from 200 to 1000 GLMR, how do i choose this?
Each collators can have a lot of delegator (in this case your are a delegator, because when you stake your glmr you become a delegator). But only the First 300 delegator can take the reward for stake. If you choose a Collator with 320 delegator and you are in 301 position, you can't take the rewards. If any doubts, do not hesitate to contac
I see. Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense now. Cheers
