I'M posting this as a member of this room and

not as a mod. This is my own opinion.

I remember days when this channel had actual conversations and 'FUD' was countered with normal discussion. I don't understand this new wave that seems to be related to "cancel culture" - everything that people don't agree with gets stamped as FUD and members here seek mods to silence others. Even obvious jokes are getting reported as 'FUD'.

And no, I'm not talkin about 'unsubstantiated FUD' or accounts that only have 10 posts and it's all "LTC is shitcoin". That kind of msgs should be deleted and users warned.

So let's talk about FUD for a moment. It seems to me that all posts that have any bearish vibe are getting marked as FUD. For most of the members here, FUD translates as 'Fear, uncertainty, and doubt' and it's usually attached to bearish sentiment. But consider this: "The abbreviation FUD is also alternatively rendered as "fear, uncertainty, and disinformation", Wikipedia.
This disinformation should contain both worlds - hyperboled bearish AND bullish sentiments. The vibe in this room seems to be that all negativity should be cut out and only let positivity - it being real or faked - to exist. This is sometimes called "moonboyism" and can be as hurtful as the opposite of it. Do you agree?

Instead of price discussion in general, i'd recommend you all to have constructive discussion about Litecoin, tech behind it and future ahead of it. If you see something you actually think is real "FUD", counter it with real statements and back it up with proof. Talk in serious manner. That's how it was done before and that's how it should be done now.
