[Updated April 26th 2022] Thanks for your interest in Reef chain. If you wish to bond your Reef coins and nominate a validator on chain (i.e., stake $REEF), you need to have REEF20 coins on Reef chain and a valid Reef chain wallet address. You can acquire REEF20 coins on the centralized exchanges Binance, Gate.io, Bitfinex and Hotbit. Alternatively, you can swap your existing tokens Reef ERC-20 on Ethereum and Reef BEP-20 on BSC (available on many exchanges, like Crypto.com and KuCoin) using the Klever Wallet bridge (depending on availability, so please check before making transfers to Klever Wallet) as well as by bridging "cross-chain" using your Binance account (on April 25th and April 26th, Binance has integrated Reef chain and enabled REEF20 deposits and withdrawals, respectively). There are only two self-custodial wallets compatible with Reef chain that you can use: Klever Wallet and Shield 🛡 Protocol (smartphone apps only), which users can send, receive and store their $REEF coins easily and safely with (note that you can only stake using Klever Wallet, at the moment). In addition to these two smartphone self-custodial wallet apps, Reef has officially introduced a browser extension for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, "reef.js" (in addition to the existing "polkadot.js", which also supports Reef chain), and it comes as browser extension only. Note: the Reef chain wallet address starts with the digit 5..., never with 0x...! Below are the tutorials on how to bond $REEF and nominate a validator on Reef chain: ° Reef Community Staking Bond (1 year fixed term, estimated 20% APY, no minimum coins required, your funds will be available for withdrawal at the end of the bond and NOT before): https://medium.com/reef-finance/introducing-reef-community-staking-bond-c547b1b9877 ° Klever Wallet (28 days minimum bond, variable APY*): https://medium.com/reef-finance/how-to-bond-your-reef-and-nominate-a-reef-chain-validator-using-klever-wallet-2eb998bdb011 ° reef.js browser extension (28 days minimum bond, variable APY*): https://medium.com/reef-finance/how-to-bond-your-reef-and-nominate-a-reef-chain-validator-using-the-reef-js-browser-extension-e88933c516eb * You can calculate your staking rewards and find the right validator for you by using the community-driven project available at https://reefaq.io/en/staking-calculator Final notes: before bonding your coins, please ensure you're satisfied with the potential rewards according to the amount of coins you bonded. If you don't have enough coins, the Community Staking Bond is recommended. Also, we don't have an ETA on Binance's own staking method. This guide will be updated accordingly. Happy staking! 🙂
