Yes, but it's unusual, it has not happened ever
just because it didnt happen yet, doesnt mean it wont :D
sure, but is unusual
well there a 3 validators with 0% commision im not sure if they are trustable but otherweise they wont have total stake up to 330mreef
All validators are owned by Reef atm, those with 0% included
how can you tell?
how long does it take to get the first reward? after 28 days lockup?
Because there is a "Public validators program" and is not opened yet
No, 28 days is the unbonding period, rewards are delivered 24h after nominations
That’s not true. Not all 23 are owned by Reef.
More than 80% sure... did you talk to the alpaca girl? She asked last night who she could talk to about the team...
why not open public validator? It is good for exposure
that's a question for Reef Team, I don't know the asnwer
We still don't know, the ideal is a decentralized network but everything is a bit new, I suppose that until v9 is released it won't open (my assumptions) in the meantime you can support the validators that are waiting, it doesn't affect the nomination since at the moment he does not sign but you support us.
on your opinion, when you think the v9 will be release?
Well, I don't know, but I suppose that after August... (these are assumptions) really, since there are few contracts and others, the consumption of the validator is not very high (in terms of resources)
thanks for your opinion
and what do you think for a future staking on binance? thanks
keep an eye on this, validators don't consume too much resources while they are in waiting, but they will consume it if elected 😉
I saw already a difference between testnet and mainnet. It is not very important but, still, it consume more
Even the testnet is not comparable to the mainnet, in testnet there is hardly any activity, nor nominators. In mainnet it will consume more
I have only signed on testnet, so... little can we compare ahahaha
Binance and Coinbase with the custody they have (to have liquidity I guess) could do it now, it's a matter of time...
binance have 1 bilion on reefchain
If the hardware requirements for a substrate node are a modern 8 cores CPU, 64GB RAM and NVMe disks, it is not because of a whim, it is because it is needed.
