In this video, at 2:58 mark, it says that the

fees of minting and burning djed and shen goes to a Cardano pool and distributed to Shen holders. And then says the ADA converted in COTI came from operating fees. But I always heard that the fees from minting and burning djed and shen will go to treasury. I'm making some confusion here?

No confusion. The fees associated with $Djed’s and $Shen’s minting and burning will be sent to $Shen holders. Every transaction in the ecosystem will be subject to operating fees that will be paid in $ADA and deducted from the initial deposit. These fees will be converted into $COTI and streamlined into the Treasury to be distributed as rewards to its users.

Both! The fee is split up in 2 different kind of fees. The request fee goes to SHEN holders and the Operator fee goes to COTI treasury

Yes, now I know. But I always heard that will be the mint and burn fees that will go to Treasury, even @musthaveben have saied that. Countless time I've read that. Now it seems that this has changed. But if the values in the picture are correct, even better to COTI holders.

But even you saied that, and I quoting you, "Mint and burn fees from djed/shen would flow back into the coti Treasury. ". So it's kind of odd that this have changed now.

And that is correct, fees are going to treasury, just not 100% of the fees.. The fee that is paid for minting/burning djed goes to both. 1 ADA goes to SHEN holders and 4 ADA goes to the COTI treasury (so total of 5 ADA fee for minting/burning Djed)

No, to COTI treasury will go operation fees. But mint and burn have operation fees, so when you mint and burn djed and shen COTI holder will also benefit from that. It more like a matter of perspective, and for a long time maybe the naming was not the better one. "No confusion. Not sure what you are complaining about, both SHEN & COTI treasury benefits from djed.. The fee structure wasn't clear before, now it is. 80% of the fees goes to the treasury and 20% goes to shen (but fees are still subject to change, this is just what I see on testnet). It's a win-win for both

Mário-São João Автор вопроса

I'm not complaining. In your eyes everything is complaining 😉

thats not fixed. its only testnet and may change. u can confirm by looking at the fees on djed.xyz
