Hi all, I'm a LP provider on Mirror Protocol which

uses Band Protocol as an oracle.

We have discovered a bug in the data source used by Band that recently (and at least 2 times) triggered unjust liquidations for dozens of users.

I am not familiar with Band and its inner working. Can someone tell me where I can go to expose the issue and hopefully get Band to adjust its data source?

Hi Leon, This was just a quick summary. Don’t hesitate if you want me to provide a full and detailed report on a better format than a reply in a telegram chat I could detail how the data is used by Mirror Protocol, the impact of bad data from the data source (again, this not an error by Band, it is a problem at the data source) and how it impacted Mirror’s users (cascade of liquidations, impact on the synthetic asset tradable on Mirror, etc.) and a quick way to fix this.
