differs from UST and other algorithmic stablecoins? Tron introducing their own algo stablecoin only casts more doubt on LGCY for people unfamiliar with USDL.
To any new investor aware of what happened to UST, USDL will look like a giant red flag. I know the mechanics of USDL differ from those of UST, but without an article clearly explaining the differences, newcomers will be right to have their doubts. I think one of the main reasons LGCY isn’t recovering as well from the recent crash are because of doubts surrounding USDL.
These are two different type of stablecoins. There are articles on USDL. You are welcome to do research and create an article about both. If a newcomer wants to learn more about USDL, there are articles on USDL.
I am well aware of that. But given recent events and massive doubts about stablecoins, an article explaining the differences is a good idea. To a casual investor, an unbacked stablecoin will seem sketchy regardless of how it works. Explaining how this differs from UST will calm a lot of investor fears. The average person investing in crypto would benefit more from a clear explanation rather than having to figure it out for themselves. I’m trying to suggest something that will help public perception, since LGCY has a history of providing very little communication to the community. Something as major as the collapse of a mainstream stablecoin merits an explanation from the team to soothe fears. If the team fails to communicate these things, then they shouldn’t be surprised if people are wary to invest in the project, since LGCY features an unbacked stablecoin as a principle aspect of its design.
LGCY team has published regular updates on development. Please see the announcements channel for updates.
We're here to provide more information about LGCY Network and not about providing investing advice. Thank you for the suggestion. I would invite the community to provide articles or fill in gaps that you think would be helpful for the community.
