borrowing. So it is still possible for someone to borrow USDN to sell it off market while shorting WAVES to depress the price? :/

why sell USDN insted of waves?

i guess the objective here is to depeg UST to a low to cause panic so the whale who loaned UST can repay UST back at a lower price. Also, some USDN holders will then swap for waves to sell it off the market. I think most exchanges have the collateral asset as perps, rather than the stablecoin itself so shorting the collateral more accessible too.
