@Ecomi_rhys Is paying the market fees in gems for OMI

to NFT still planned ? Wouldn't it be better to take the fees in OMI and convert them to gems directly (maybe with take 1-2% more for convertion like banks do).

Paying fees in gems would be a wall for omi to NFT adoption. If you sell some collectibles for several millions OMIs, this would mean having hundreds or thousands gems on the account just to pay the fees.

I guess you see my point

yep i see your point. If we were to take fees in OMI and sell for Gems (dollars) it would create permanent sell pressure on the token, which is the exact thing we're trying to avoid. I agree it's going to take a bit to find the right balance/mechanism to make it all happen without being a hinderance to adoption, but we have a few incentives that should help on that front
