little info sesh.
If anyone listened to the whole thing - was there any mention of Hard?
No mention of Hard, the way I interpreted it is that their main priority is growing the network and increasing TVL
No mention of hard. A few things mentioned include. They now have around 40 protocols many of which will be deploying over the next week or so Aim to be a top 5 Level 1 chain measured by usage (number of protocols and TVL) 19 minutes into broadcast: Will be moving away from Kava Staking Rewards to Liquid Staking Rewards encouraging token holders to actively participate in the Kava Defi Products Introduction of a loyalty program with VIP Tiers based on Kava token holdings so larger kava holders benefit with higher yields On chain referral program Reducing the liquidation penalty from 7.5% to around 2.5% on kava mint Cutting inflation for kava stakers by around 25%, so staking yields would drop back from 36.3% to around 27.3% apy.
lowering staking rewards with this kinda inflation? yeah not sure thats the right direction
"Introduction of a loyalty program with VIP Tiers based on Kava token holdings so larger kava holders benefit with higher yields" wouldn't that encourage centralisation rather than decentralisation? Shouldn't highest yields go to lowest stalkers by amount locked adjusted to commission ratio?
When is this new staking thing going into effect, I wanna make sure I pull all my assets off before the crash
Do you mean to reduce staking rewards slightly (which has increased considerably from around 31% to 36.3% in recent months) partly due to the growth in total supply, and would likely to be back above 28% within the month I think Scott mentioned a proposal likely to go up within a week or so
Not sure how that relates to centralization or validators
