does it bring (other than rewards)?
Decentralization has always been a foundational component of the Moonbeam and Moonriver networks, and that philosophy guided the design of Moonbeam’s custom staking pallet. A diverse set of block producers, called collators, secure the network and uphold the principles of censorship resistance and continuous uptime.
Is there more to it, or can someone explain this in bit normal language?
This affects the stability of the network, as the collators produce blocks and pass them to kusama/polkadot validators for further finalization
So the more GLMR is staked, to more stable the network is?
We can say that, yes
What about safety? It's written "secure the network", or is that related to stability?
Just a note my friend, about Staking onchain via Official Moonbeam Dapp: Collators are Key, but also Delegators are fundamental part of the game. When you stake as delegator you are contributing to the wellness of the network, is a fact. Reason why using Cex is not the preferred way evwn if they seem to offer good conditions, indeed 😉💪
Hi Michelle, what do you mean with the wellness?
Robustness & Safety
