'' extend lock period '' option. if I do not enable it and withdraw it before the deadline I lose all the rewards, this is understood. but if I have enabled the extend option, what happens if I close the position for example at 200 days? Do I also lose all the rewards from the first 120-day block? isn't there some sort of interest settlement after 120 days? maybe the interests of the first 120 days become unlocked 1X ...
Let me check this and get back to you
"extend lock period" simply relocks the deposit once the previous lock period ends. So it would be the same as letting the lock expire and then manually locking it again. If you withdraw early, only the rewards of the new lock period will be lost (so you don't lose the rewards of the previous lock period). Perhaps an admin can confirm this, but that's my understanding
so it can be understood like this, (numerical example Without taking into account the real apy) lock whit '' extend lock period "10000 coti for 120d. end period I get for example 12000 tot .. automatically system lock 12000 for other 120d? or system lock 10000 for the second 120d and 2000k go to unlocked 1X ready for withdraw?
Interesting as I thought that relocking was counted as locking the the same deposit and all rewards are linked to that single deposit so if it's locked/relocked then they would all be lost if withdrawing early. However as you said confirmation from admins would be good.
Why would anyone then use the auto extend? Then it would be better to just let it expire and manually lock it again
Waiting to get some feedback from the team
No, the auto extend will only apply to your initial deposit (10k in your example), the rewards will stay until you manually claim it
Yes what you just said makes sense, Would be no point in using auto extend as you could just let your lock expire remove rewards to keep them safe then relock. So I'm going to go with your solution , I just thought it worked the other way. I don't think it has ever been explained in great detail in any documentation other that "it automatically extends your deposit for another lock"
I think you won't lose your first 2000 rewards, but let's wait for an admin to confirm (they will check it with the team), to be 100% sure
No fees are involved for manual relocking..
