I doubt that it can be tracked back to sender, that’s the reason they ask for a memo, so that you can tell them your memo to claim it on there exchange, otherwise they have no way of knowing where it’s come from

So given of course that ARRR cannot be tracked, My question more clearly would be… can the info on the memo be used to track you or is that memo only to identify the receiving kucoin wallet? Or is the memo anonymous also?

Imagine you were are the kucoin operators, and you have hundreds of not thousands of transactions coming through daily of arrr, they need to know where it’s come from so they can allocate it to each persons account balance, that’s why they want you to write in the memo, if you want to be completely private then don’t use kucoin, just use tradeogre and the pirate wallets

no, when you get a deposit address from Kucoin it will generate a memo, you copy and paste it into your memo field
