correct. at least until pulse chain is out
For now? Yes. That will change when mainnet of PLS arrives. Date to be announced
Should we be staking HEX now or wait until PLS launch?
Here's what to consider: 1) If you do now, you will receive a full copy of it on PLS as pHEX. 2) Consider whatever the ETH gas fees are and how long you'll stake.
Let me correct at least a small part of it. The stake SYSTEM STATE will be copied. Any liquid hex on ETH will be copied as pHEX.
so, if I stake on ETH network now, when PLS is launched, it will be automatically migrated to the PLS network?
stake will be copied, so you'll have two identical stakes on two chains.
Do I have to do anything when this happen? How long can one stake? Also how do I bridge my HEX from polygon network to ETH?
As long as your stake occurs before the snapshot (date not yet announced) then you're good. One can stake up to 5555 days (15.2 years) but be forewarned you'll require PLENTY of ETH and possibly PLS to redeem those stakes as both require massive computing power for the maximum stakes. Many have 6+ year stakes and some have several which are staggered in time, making a "stake ladder"
okay. Also how do I bridge my HEX from polygon network to ETH? What platform is best for bridging HEX from polygon to ETH?
@Benzenoid can probably help you here.
