Ledger would most likely just support the native token without the treasury initially, since staking in the treasury already means the tokens are sent out to a different address.

Perfect thanks. Hopefully that will quiet down the "wen ledger" chat a little. I think a lot were hoping that the initial release would support staking.

I am waiting for ledger because I am from a restricted country and want to hold my native coti. I don't want to use erc20 coti because of high transfering fees. And also it is not safe to hold in exchenges.

You make great points and I didn't take then into account when trying to work out why native holders still want Ledger.. Those who want for example to take part in airdrops. NFT airdrop last year was only for native AFAIK. And I also forgot about the high gas fees for ERC20. Thanks for clarifying.

COTI Admins , It would seem that people are asking for Ledger as they think that it the treasury might be supported. Are you able to confirm if treasury will be supported when ledger support is released for native? (wouldn't liquidations be impossible , but maybe 1X unlocked could work?) If it isn't supported then most of the Ledger need goes away I would imagine. If you can't use treasury due to restricted country then swap to ERC20 and use ledger which is already supported. If any of the users still wants to use the ledger even though treasury may not be supported I'd love to know why you would want to use ledger over getting rewards on the treasury?. Only reason I can think of is the whole "not your keys - not your coins" But that doesn't make sense as your staking on mainnet via the company who makes COTI and not a 3rd party.
