Only way to send Quant is via Eth blockchain? Why

team didn't work to implement another blockchains to have faster and cheaper transfers like Binance SmartChain?

Because they’re working on the QRC-20 standard (which I believe the QNT token will migrate to), which not only enables faster/cheaper txs but also multi-chain functionality

Qrc20 is more a product for clients with default additional functionality, its not a crypto token like the $qnt token. We can’t buy it.

I don’t see how our statements are mutually exclusive.

Think he was saying qnt isn't migrating to qrc20

Anything is more likely than migrating to BSC...😅

ETH chain is safe. Quant is not only for trading but there is a real utiliy behind. Why go on a new risky chain? would be dumb.

Actually there are safer chains than eth, with carbon negative footprint, fees like 0.00001 and more secure.

When did they create it and when was Quant created? Is it important to migrante now or to build OVN and its features?

Idk about when was eth created, in terms of security is lacking, and has suffered 51% attack, could happen again. There are many Layer1 who outshine eth.

Euh ETH itself or bridges on ETH? Also which if those layers 1 was alive with a safe track record in 2017?

XrpL, safe since 2012

Ok 👍 Well anyway, I prefer the team to focus on the product more than reducing my transfer fees as my tokens don't move that much. Well, it always depends of people goals 🤷

It's not only fees, eth is not safe, very poorly designed, still can suffer 51%attack, and miners are shutting down due to high energy costs

Agreed with most of what you said. To be fair though, you're using QNT as the means of a license. It's like a token-based certification that you have permission to use Overledger. Although of course it's possible, QNT is not meant to be used as currency to transact back and forth. Ethereum is far from perfect but it's the most widely used public DLT and I assume it will stay that way for a while. There of course are better chains out there, but track record is important and how much of the market is using said network for ease of use. I think this conversation is still valid though due to the Merge that's happening in the next couple of months. That's when the complexities of Ethereum's consensus layer and execution layer come together. Hopefully they get their stuff together by then and it's a solid mainnet launch.

It's not important nor relevant for any of the products that quant network offers to their clients or us besides the token itself.
