Would like some clarity on Flexa Payment Links and gas

fees and Gemini. If your assets are on the Gemini exchange and Flexa Payments goes live on Gemini and you want to pay at Chipotle using Gemini, how are there gas fees involved? There seems to be an assumption on the Amptoken subreddit that you have to pay gas fees from now on if using Gemini..

Any wallet that sends a payment with Flexa Payments will be responsible for gas fees. We support 12 chains, many whom are gas efficient.

Sorry I'm a bit of newb, so if my Bitcoin is on Gemini exchange and there's a pay with Flexa option on my Gemini app (via Flexa Payment Links) and I'm at Chipotle's register, where's the step where gas fees are involved?

Apps will simply send assets to Flexa, that is all. It’s no different from you sending assets from Coinbase to MetaMask or Gemini to Coinbase. In those situations, you will be responsible for gas.

Yeah it's pretty much us the consumer are still paying for a "visa" transaction fees and the merchant saves by their customers being fully responsible. "Any app" is amazing, but for those who don't have the SDK (Gemini) it makes any ETH based wallet with something like USDC in your account more expensive than traditional payments..? No? ZK rollups or Optimistic on ETH wallets will be needed. If I'm wrong, please explain..

I believe Tyler said they will support L2's eventually. In the meantime, there's the MATIC transformer.
