a fruitful discussion no more.
Looking for a way to point fingers and let your frustrations flow ... I am sorry to say but it will not solve things!
Also considering how new the space still is and that for many things there are no models or rules to follow by I think it is more important to recognize good intentions.
The team could have quit but instead they are still here trying their best to fix things and make the protocol better and stronger.
Isn't that more important for us than anything else?
Also whenever you are writing uncivil or just mean comments, to let off your steam and anger,
consider that you are "robbing" the Bancor team of their energies to actually focus on their work! They are humans as well and mean comments will affect their ability to focus on what actually matters!
Most of the negative energy is directed at the attempted stonewalling of the Foundation, which is best suited to fix the issue - literally thats it! They need to engage in the community. No one accepts the distorted commentary about it being an island to itself. It has engaged with the protocol on every level and now in the time of need it claims through intermediaries that it has no responsibility to the protocol. Its outrageous and offensive. They need to be part of the solution, full stop.
That may be what you want because it seems like an easy fix but it would be an unsustainable one at best!
How is that unsustainable? The gap gets filled and all harm is undone. The team is then free to take as long as they want to build the most robust protocol they can thereafter.
