AMPL is a rebase token, so the number of your tokens can change over time.
Yea but its also supposed to equal a dollar.. All im saying is i should have 14 or so AMPL Equaling 14$ But its only 4.5 AMPL equaling 4.50$ around there. I don't get it?
It doesn't work like that. If the number of tokens changed, of course the price will change. If you have only 4.5 AMPL because of the rebase, yes, you have $4.50 worth of tokens only.
I have the transaction hash of what i should have in my account. Can i dm you and my public address so you can see. Tokens are missing
Read again, rebase tokens can change the number of tokens over time. You have 4.5 AMPL today, tomorrow they can be 20, then 1, etc. That is how rebase tokens work.
So you telling me they can do whatever they want with my tokens. So i basically got scam by my own tokens. Suppose to be stable 14$ but is 4.50 now Nothing stable about that. Thanks i guess 🙃
Exactly. You should DYOR before investing, rebase tokens amount can change arbitrarily over time. It doesn't mean you were hacked, that is how rebase tokens work.
I didn't invest . It was a rewards but i didn't have eth to do anything with it. I just thought they are always supposed to equal dollar value. And i know i had 14$
Well now you know how they work. Price didn't change, only the amount of your tokens because of the rebase.
