The BNT distribution mechanism was disabled, along with BNT compensation as a whole- including protocol deficit- in order to avoid the likely result that everyone would be losing their liquidity.

If not for pausing the BNT minting, all retails will incur higher loss. . . And the whales who were at the door first will benefit of all those BNT minted.
