ratio?if you got let say 10k$ busd on BUSD Earn how much can you borrow on Kava lend usdx?
If you are referring to BUSD Earn, it works differently. By supplying BUSD through BUSD Earn, it functions as two birds, one stone. Your BUSD would be supplied to Mint to create a CDP to borrow USDX, but it has a 0% interest rate, and its price feed is fixed to $1.00. And then your borrowed USDX would be supplied to Lend to earn rewards in KAVA and HARD. Everything is done in one transaction.
You can borrow assets using USDX as collateral, but it has 25% LTV.
Would this affect my busd earn if I do?
You mean USDX price feed is fixed to 1$? Or BUSD?
BUSD's price feed is fixed to $1.00. Thank you for pointing this out.
So the main difference between supplying BUSD through BUSD earn and Mint is that there’s no interest fee when supplying via BUSD earn?
I'm not sure if I understand your question entirely. Supplying BUSD to mint USDX on Mint is part of BUSD Earn's module.
There's not really much difference. BUSD earn is just a simplified method for less experienced users, where a single deposit mints the USDX and supplies it to kava lend for you. The interest is zero which ever option you choose
Indeed. Also, using the Earn feature saves you transaction fess instead of opening a CDP on Mint using BUSD as collateral to mint USDX and supplying USDX to Lend by executing two separate transactions. Earn gets these transactions done in one transaction.
We, Kava Labs employees, cannot comment on the token price performance.
