Moonbeam team, Let me ask you something, Why people coming from

Atom, Avax, Sol and Fantom would stay on Moonbeam? Have you ever at least tried to improve your network speed? It's completely far from nowadays reality having a simple dex swap taking more than 30 secs to go through.

Your harvestmoon program was a big failure, TVL is lower than it was when the program started. Plis don't make this mistake again!

Infrastructure first, incentivized markets next, or all these GLMR rewards grants will mean only a big waste of resources, people will come, farm and leave!

No one would change a S22+ for a 2015 phone, plis think about it and fix this issue before it's too late.

Tks

being a parachain means a reduced tps for the moment, while improvements are made. we could make moonbeam a standalone chain with a small number of high powered validators and significantly boost tps in line with some of these other projects. but by doing that we would give up on decentralization and interoperability properties which are core to the vision and goals for the project. reduced capacity comes down to us from parity and the relay chain. including block time and the amount of wasm execution time that is allowed on the relay chain to execute parablocks. there are still multiple networking issues that need to be addressed, and then the system needs to be optimized. many of these are things which we cannot solve ourselves without help from parity. tps is low single digits right now. but its running at a small fraction of what the throughput will ultimately be. its easier to troubleshoot these low level issues when running in this slower state. we are continuing to work on performance along with parity. Derek told about it in his blog, it is still relevant https://moonbeam.network/blog/moonriver-technical-update-september-2021/

Thank you for you detailed answer, good to know that you are aware of the issues. One thing I noticed today related to transaction execution was, it takes around 10 secs for a transaction starts being recognized/executed by the dapp where the transaction is made, I mean, the dapp (moonwell, stella) only starts running the transaction 10 secs after our approval. I don't remember ever seeing this before.

I would try changing the RPC (https://docs.moonbeam.network/builders/get-started/endpoints/) to check if there will be any changes. I also always perform transactions with a higher gas price, and I rarely have problems

Low fees and high gas fees have no effect on my transactions, I mean, all of them usually take around 34 secs.

As soon as you approve a transaction, does the dapp instantly starts the process?

Agreed. And on a lighter note, I just love the idea of earning $FunToken while having fun. It’s like getting paid to do what we love. Who wouldn’t want that? 😄
