Reading the paper above, it is clear that ergo's diff

readjust algo can fit basically 20% of hashrate hopping, and avoid timejack attack by malicious miners. but this extreme situation the algo works not well. so, the question is whether we should change an algo that works well for most normal situation to an algo that works well for extreme situation while more vulnerable to some attack vector?
