Hey. We don't have a public roadmap, but Moonbeam team is currently working on a new milestone and is a pioneer in the field of so-called connected contracts. one of the use cases is a one-click swap, without having to look for bridges and so on. Connected contracts refer to the cooperation of smart contracts on the “backend” of the DApps users interact with on the blockchain. These contracts are connected across blockchains so there is no need to bridge assets in order to use assets in any application, on any connected chain. Moonbeam & Moonriver based connected contracts can use different messaging transports to send messages to other chains. XCM, Axelar, LayerZero, Hyperlane, Wormhole and etc. once Chainlink CCIP is available i expect it will be available as a messaging transport as well. Derek talked about all the advantages of Moonbeam / Moonriver in his speech at Polkadot Decoded: 1. https://youtu.be/th3lQ5oucwg and this is also worth listening to: 2. https://youtu.be/b4MSjExESB0 There is a new functionality that PureStake is working on called XCM-to-EVM. XCM to EVM feature allows developers on other chains to trigger function calls on Moonbeam’s EVM and access all of its features from their home chains. XCM-integrated chains will interact with Moonbeam EVM to execute logic trustlessly using Substrate-native logic. Developers from within the Polkadot ecosystem can also use EVM over XCM to access general message passing protocols like Axelar, which allows them to communicate with other blockchains outside of the ecosystem like Ethereum, Cosmos, and Avalanche.
