Just had a thought... This pem file with the signer is

a real pain, loads of people are losing access to them.

So I've migrated my signer into the casper wallet, so I'm assuming if I uninstall the wallet and reinstall, I will need the seed phrase AND the pem file?

If so, how about I open another new wallet without the signer and transfer my casper to the new wallet.

Then it's just the seed phrase I need

Right?

Ye I've already imported my signer into a new casper seed phrase wallet, that's done already. So If I uninstall that new wallet and reinstall, I will/will not need the pem file?

You will if you want to import your Signer account again. If you don't want that, you can send the CSPR to the Casper Wallet created account

The recovery method is still through the .pem file, yes

OK slight issue My delegator is fully subscribed and If I were to undelegate, I would lose my spot under the max 750 rule But I believe that is being removed soon isn't it

It's possible you lose it, yes. And yes, the plan is to raise it with 1.5.

You can just leave 1 CSPR to keep your slot but it's not very nice to the validator and other delegators, of course. Bad karma will catch you, you know 😉

I did not know that Thank-you 🫡🫡🫡 I would just undelegate leaving the one as you say, very quickly set up fresh wallet without pem frustration 😳 and redelegate. Thanks 👍 😊

You will always need the .pem file for the Signer account, yes. If you only want to use your seedphrase, you'll have to transfer over your CSPR. You always need to create a seedphrase wallet first, before you can import Signer, so you can use that seedphrase/wallet.
