The end goal i’m trying to sort out is: why would

a prospective investor want to buy and hold/stake akt?

governance is nice, but unless you have huge sums of cash lying around, your gov power isn’t significant

paid to secure the network seems questionable with babylon covering security

getting a share of take and make fees is good.. and hopefully a direct value relationship with the adoption/use of the network

well for the first question, i assume, people are buying it for the possible income, like shares of the companies. Staking for the investor is the potential source of income, and ability to vote on the Governance proposals. Yes, rn the Community pool, is not that big, as i guess everyone would like to, but with the fees, and the GPU on the mainnet, and the Stable payments, i think the situation should change. the % for every pool form the IDP is not determine rn. I think it will be up to the community, after the fees will launch.

income yes.. which is why i’ve been buying too, and compounding my rewards regularly it’s all still speculation i guess.. i’m trying to make sense of what that income would look like, and subsequently how the token would be valued.. and how babylon might impact this, how the IDP is setup to distribute collected fees, etc
