118 coin type and have decided to use Keplr wallet (chromium browser extension) in future instead of Persistence Web Wallet. Does anyone have an opinion on whether the Keplr wallet is considered sufficiently secure without using a Ledger cold wallet? Seems a like a lot of hassle if the Keplr wallet is considered safe enough. Also, I want to re-stake my XPRT: To claim regular staking rewards and delegate would I need to have the Ledger device connected or can this be done in Keplr? Thanks for your input
Hi there keplr wallet is considered safe wallet. However you can also use it along with ledger option if you have doubts. Also to use auto compounding kindly use restake app. https://restake.app/persistence Or on yieldmos.com/strategies
Ok, thanks for that. I might just stick to Keplr for now. Also, I didn't know about the auto-staking app but I notice the app transacts very frequently; whereas I have typically manually claimed rewards + delegated on a weekly basis to keep taxable events at a minimum.
In that case you can get in touch with validator with whom you choose to stake and ask them if they can provide weekly auto staking. Else you can always do it manually.
