Question

So since multichain is down for who knows how long

on Kava amd elsewhere, but on Kava, what is kava team doing to find a workaround, so the loyal users are not left holding the bag? Yes we can wait for multichain bridge team, but what are the plans if that doesn't happen?

Hopefully not, but Kava team needs to have some type of workaround, I'm surprised they never had other ways to deposit and withdrawal from the kava evm chain. Surely we as normal users have to wait on multichain just like kava team, but they should have the ability and resources to have a plan so their loyal users don't get stuck.

All blue chip tokens were Multichain tokens. Only Multichain can accept them

I get that, but my point is that kava team should have had multiple avenues to onboard and off board crypto into the evm chain, not just rely on multichain to begin with. Of course hindsight is 20/20 so going forward this is something that should be of paramount priority to kava. Ultimately it's our own (users) fault for what we invest in, but kava team also needs to accept that they unintentionally caused this by only relying on multichain. They need to have some type of plan for if multichain doesn't come back, unlike us the users, they have a whole blockchain at risk.

Of course, and I'll say this not knowing your grandfather, he wouldn't have stayed still waiting on someone to give him wheels to get from point A to point B. So I'm hoping kava team is looking into this and not just be like us the users waiting only on multichain. Even if multichain bridge comes back 100% look at other ways into and out of Kava evm. It's not FUD on situation or team, simply brainstorming so we can avoid this in the future.
