I pressed release before the money arrived and now the

transaction is hanging :( I can’t withdraw from the GRT delegation now. Has anyone come across? How to cancel a transaction on a contract?

Was the transaction properly confirmed or is it still pending? In theory, the release() function should 'transfer all available releasable tokens to beneficiary'. If none were releaseable then it wouldn't transfer any to the beneficiary.

the point is that GRT was delegated. The release was pressed before the tokens were withdrawn from the indexer, i.e. at that moment they were not yet on the contract. In theory, it should have just thrown an error, but it went into pending

I haven’t interacted with the token lock contracts as much. Maybe @ellipfra can opine?

If the tx is pending because your gas price limit is too low, it will eventually execute and fail then. If you cannot wait, you can replace this transaction with another one with the same nonce (e.g. sending yourself 0 eth). Metamask has a built in cancel function you could use

Failed to cancel the transaction in the first place tried to do it. The transaction hangs for several days, I hope it will be canceled after some time. I'm in no hurry as GRT is not $3 per coin yet, but still wish it didn't hang pending
