the daily on-chain volume on Ethereum is commonly above 1B USD even in the bear market. Small fish like us don't move price much.

For example, look at who dominated the HEX price in bear market? It was mostly Jeff TrustMe aka d01 that was strategically breaking supports and the stupid Hexicans got played instead of countertrading him.

This tells that even a ton of dolphins, squids and other fish can't counteract a single shark that is hellbent at killing them. Not because the masses don't have enough power, but because they get played so damn easily.

d01 fiasko was an excellent case study for this. We attributed his behaviour to stupidity, because nobody could imagine why this guy would throw money trough the window the way he did: He only sold to break price supports, used retardedly big market orders instead of limit orders or unilateral liquidity, he never sold into pumps, even went so far to sell the very bear bottom... The guy way the very impersonation of the grizzly bear and everyone feared him like the devil himself. Then it turns out his behaviour had nothing to do with stupidity. It was smart and premeditated all along. He was trying to kill HEX. He tried it already in 2020 with a vampire attack (which caused great harm but ultimately failed). Now, imagine how much money Hexicans lost co-trading him. And now imagine how much money Hexicans could have made had they counter-traded him.
