you can delegate your BIT here: https://delegatevote.mantle.xyz to vote, you'll need to have delegated your BIT before a proposal opens on Snapshot
i buy today so i can vote in current
if you delegate today, you won't be able to vote on the ongoing proposal as the snapshot of delegated addresses has already been taken. you'll need to wait for the next vote in the Snapshot space
Is it true that the supply of $MNT will be max 31.4 Bil?
no, the conversion ratio is proposed as 1 BIT to 1 MNT. you can still vote on the proposal here: https://snapshot.org/#/bitdao.eth/proposal/0x950dac4d5715b8aa8eab29c484b1c9dd0eed161141262b0425874f65be4d9f8e
then what is the maximum supply of MNT tokens?..I didn't find it in the document..but I saw in the chat above that it says that the max supply of MNT is 31.4B
BIT max total supply is 10B so it would be the same for MNT
Is there a document stating the supply of MNT
the token design and conversion parameters proposal is still up for vote, once that has closed, documentation will be prepared based on the results
The initial total supply of $MNT will be 9,219,316,768, or 1:1 to the current $BIT total supply, to reflect the $BIT burns. Future governance votes may induce more Burns and Mints (requires at least three votes: changing maximum Mint amount from the initial 0%, determining the actual Mint amount, allowing the Minted tokens to leave the Treasury). Burns can be proposed at the forum at any moment, while Mints are not expected in the short-to-medium term, as over 6B or 65% of the $MNT tokens in the Treasury provide plenty of cushion.
when I buy BIT on CEX now, is there anything I have to do to convert it to MNT later?
The Mantle Core Contributor team will work with CEXes to provide off-chain conversion channels.
that means maybe we can straight convert in bybit ? Without any gas fees ?
