Who told me last time its unpossible to register as a security?
I did and I am not arguing with you because if you believe all the outright false and or misleading nonsense in that tweet then idk what to tell you lol. Not going to go through it all because if you cannot dyor then yngmi anyway, but this one is a real gem, "There are some tokens that have decided to register with the SEC as a security already" Oh really? From the SEC's own website dated 24-03-23: In particular, no crypto asset entity is registered with the SEC as a national securities exchange (like, for example, the New York Stock Exchange or the Nasdaq Stock Market). And no existing national securities exchange currently trades crypto asset securities.
Idk, but that guy is kinda right moat of the times. Not telling that u are not right tho
The closest thing that's ever happened is DOT, "convincing" the SEC they were software and not a security. Which nobody believes is going to stick anyway in the future if the SEC is victorious, they'll come after them too. Gensler said point blank and I am paraphrasing. "we don't need these assets we have the dollar." What does that sound like to you? If it was possible and there was a framework that allowed Crypto organizations like COTI to be regulated in the US they would have already done it.
Well, he's completely wrong here and it's a divisive point that I read far too much on here, Reddit etc. that confuses people into thinking there is an actual path and that all these assets and the teams behind them are in the wrong. Public perception and opinion matter politically and people knowing the facts matter if the end result is the market surviving in the US with US capital. If you spout off misinformation and other people believe it you lose a powerful collective that could possibly push the US legislator to do their jobs and create a proper regulatory framework.
