I'M a little nervous about the future of $matic. I

love the direction they are headed and the fact that they are reimagining the world, but will that world be dumping $matic? I've been holding since the very beginning and a lot of us have... we (in part) are why polygon has gone as far as it has. If they dump $matic... or somehow make matic useless in the process - that will be a spit in the face to everyone holding it including investors, exchanges, developers, you name it.

Well, that's at least some what reassuring, thank you. Based on this quote, "Polygon 2.0 is our blueprint for building the Value Layer. It is a set of proposed upgrades that radically reimagine almost every aspect of Polygon, from protocol architecture to tokenomics to governance." It sounds like at the very least $Matic will be getting an upgrade/change in design/function along with some changes in tokenomics.
