Moonriver and Moonbeam share many parts of their code, but Moonbeam and Moonriver are independent, standalone networks with different priorities. Moonriver is wild and fast; great for bold experimentation and early-stage deployment. all the new code that PureStake writes is first tested on Moonriver in real economic conditions. e.g. as previously Dynamic Fees Mechanism, now OpenGov, in the future XCM to EVM feature. some of the projects are first launched on Moonriver to test their code in real economic conditions. a living example is a project called DpS :)
So the benefit of holding movr will be early access to new tech? And for testing the new tech and with possible bugs there's a reward?
yeah, as I mentioned earlier, all new code is first tested on Moonriver, so users have the opportunity to interact with new features much earlier than it appears on Moonbeam. dApps on Moonriver can implement various features into their apps and test them to make sure everything works correctly. we have a bug bounty program on immunefi, about the rewards for finding bugs in other projects, it is better to ask with the support team of these projects directly
