I understand frustration of all users that has deposits under

multiplier higher then x1, but you took the risk, and now you want to avoid risk to be liquidated? I guess you need to stake under x1 then, since multipliers x2 and higher always a risk with grace period or without it.

It was said from the day 1 that grace period will be removed, it’s not that we said that it will be forever and give you 6 days notice that it will be completely removed

Of course we saying it, because grace period was there. Now grace period will be removed, time came, what questions can be here if you’re saying you were ready for grace period removal?

No matter if this was announced today, few months later or few months before, there would still be someone that would have been using multiplier. There is no way to time it such that no one is using it. Thus, what we could do from our side was to inform in advance that we are moving towards this direction, which we did.

Looking back to exactly 120 days ago from when the announcement was made (yesterday) was 28th March 2023, That would have been 6 days before gCOTI airdrop campaign launch (03rd Apr 2023) , and I think almost everyone with leverage would have switched over to long-term locking on gCOTI getting upto x4 0day APYs had the announcement been made at that time. I did a poll yesterday, and most using leverage said they would have had they known. I'm guessing that either the team didn't know the decision was needed back then, or if they did know they were too busy with the gCOTI campaign, and this was an announcement/decision to be made so far out into the future that it wasn't of immediate concern. Announcing it 120 days ago would have made a big difference to almost everyone affected by yesterdays announcement if the poll results are accurate. There is no doubt that it should have been announced 120 days ago but it wasn't and there is nothing that can be done about it now. Now the only option is lose your coins or get x1 APYs. Using leverage is no longer a calculated risk as big dips can happen with very low volume, (we are not even in the top 350 anymore)

We understand the risk and there are lot of people including myself thaat got liquidated at some point, but you cant change the terms of leverage with 6 day notice, what is point of your new token GCOTI that is airdropped, which is supposed to be decision maker, is coti planning to get all critical decisions before GCOTI release
