instead of USDT?
Secondo question... Will the platform support native USDC or a wrapped version?
Well I guess it's not wrapped as all majority things are on eth Blockchain
Platform will support USDC, not wrapped USDC
USDC is more widely used in defi/DEX perp protocols (it's the main collateral of DYDX, GMX, etc.). Also personally I think it has a lower black swan risk compared to Tether, but both are probably fine? It's a good question and we may add USDT collateral support in the future.
Many risks with usdt
It is a bridged version, i.e. users will deposit USDC on L1 and it will be minted on the L2. It's possible to have Circle mint USDC directly on the L2 but we'd need to get to a certain level of scale first (they don't even support native minting on Polygon, that's also bridged from L1).
