commenters said that although Casper is making good partnerships, the companies Casper is working with are using private extensions of the blockchain which wouldn't have an impact on the public blockchain...meaning the tokens we're buying wouldn't go anywhere. Is it true that the partnerships are private extensions? I'm definitely not buying any more Casper if only private extensions are being used.
Enterprises are able to choose whether they will acquire CSPR or not, depending on their specific use cases. On private chain on the other hand, there might not be a need, unless there's is a hybrid set-up in place involving the public blockchain network.
Is there any reason to buy CSPR if most of the partnerships are private chain?
so it is true that the public casper network will not always be used by companies except in the case of hybrid or exclusively public use, so this clearly reduces the use of the public network and therefore the interest of the tokens.
Yes definitely, CSPR is the utility token of Casper blockchain. Whether or not partnerships use private chain. CSPR will still be used to reward validators, and as well as transaction fees on the Casper blockchain.
Hi, Ryan. Take note that nothing on the blockchain runs for free, while enterprises are allowed to have a dedicated and secure network tailored to their specific needs and requirements, this does not limit/reduce the use case of the public chain, public applications, and decentralized projects also thrive on the Casper blockchain.
Ok. Thanks. I know we don't discuss price here. But a lot of people are buying cspr tokens with the hope that there will be a return at some point. Hopefully the price of the tokens will increase. With that said, is it possible for Casper to be successful without the token price increasing? If it is that obviously needs to be factored into the decision making when someone is thinking about buying cspr tokens. Just trying to get some clarity.
Will private chain also use cspr to pay fees?
Hey Christian. No, CSPR is used for computation on the public chain.
Can anyone answer the question in my previous post? 🫶🙏
Please refer to a previous answer Mrinal gave you: https://t.me/casperblockchain/663431 We can't comment further on your last question I'm afraid.
Thanks Jeroen. And is private chain need to use a public backend chain for txns validation and gas fees ?
No, private is private. A mix of private and public is possible, that's called hybrid and would require computation and thus CSPR on the public network.
So, another question to the ones I asked before, would be : What % of Entreprise leads and partners opted for a private chain solution?
Will pass on your question, Holo
Almost all are Hybrid, it's one of the differentiating features we have.
Great thanks Mrinal for the proximity to this chat
Hey @mrinalmanohar, can we know why the last 3 months, CasperLabs Holding sent more than 300 millions CSPR on OKX ? Is it to pay salaries or something? Can we have informations on that ? Thank you.
