that several times in the past we had great expectations when launching new products. Especially with Multidag 2.0 and Djed. Unfortunately, this did not materialize. For my better understanding: why will it be different at the launch of the first ppn? What are the reasons that the next big launch will be a success that will affect the enterprise value? I am very optimistic but I lack the convincing arguments.
More fees, higher Rewards
Multidag 2.0 is part of the foundations laid ready for the PPN it was never going to be a development that alone would create fees etc for the ecosystem. Think of it as part of the jigsaw puzzle that once all the pieces come together that's when we will really see it's capability. As for DJED it has worked perfect and exactly as designed. Remember we're only seeing "basic" DJED 1.1 at the moment as previously mentioned by Shahaf they don't want to rush DJED. Give it time to grow and once 1.2 and 1.3 versions are released then we should see alot more benefits to the Coti ecosystem
If I take this question from a fundamental perspective, MultiDAG 2.0 update was necessary for better chain optimisation to handle the transactions better. It in itself did not increase the fees (until enterprise integrations come) Djed brought in fees and will continue to do so in the future. Perhaps you did not notice a change since the TVL in treasury grew exponentially in the last 1 year, and the fees gets distributed among all these depositers. However, almost half of the circulating COTI is now in treasury and the impact of new fees generated from PPN shouldn’t go unnoticed. Price wise, I cant comment except that the complete market has been in bear market for the past few years.
Djed being disappointing on the tvl is more on cardanos side than cotis
Is it really needed to completely redo COTI before onboarding a single enterprise\business customer? 🤷♂️
Upgradations are important to stay competitive in this ever-developing field.
