as collateral to mint pDAI? I am not getting involved in any of that. Sounds like a scam is going on.

That means we have people that send their PLS to actual addresses of scammers to dump their token on them. Getting rekt twice granted they hold any other PLS afther sending to them.

Cryptards want to please scammers by buying infinite amounts of pDAI from them. Crypto clown world in action. That's why I always say to focus on being in crypto for the money. Otherwise one soon gets derailed in being in crypto for making scammers rich. The attention span of people is too short for them to remember why they got into crypto in the first place.
