want to transfert my tokens from Coinlist to my Casper Wallet extension.
On the website, they asked for a "Transfer ID" + when I paste my Casper Wallet address on the withdraw page they show: not valid address.
What is the best way to transfert CSPR from Coinlist to Casper Wallet ?
Thanks 😊
Hello Aziz, firstly please ignore ANY DM's you are getting right now offering help, they will not be genuine.
Of course, I'm not new to the space. However, nice recommendation, thanks for the reminder Sean
If you are transferring from CoinList to your Casper Wallet public address you can use 0 for the transfer ID, its always recommended to try with a small amount first to test it.
However, when I paste the wallet address from my Casper Wallet. Coinlist send me a message to say: the following address is not correct. Here is the address: 0202642fbff6e041d2a96e7bd2de1c3ad4478655911a547377f674cff30139206c88
I am not familiar CoinLists processes Aziz, you can contact their support here. https://support.coinlist.co/support/home
I told you above that I can't reach them (impossible since weeks, they don't answer tickets). That's why I ask here :)
You should, that's where CSPR where launch. As an admin, you should be familiar with all the process
Make sure you put 0 where they ask for the transfer ID or they will tell you your wallet address is not correct.
Thank you Sean, I'll do it. Have a nice day
Sure that you didn't mix up the text boxes? If they didn't change the UI there is a big yellow box which is explaining the Transfer ID/Memo thing. So make sure to put the address in the correct field and fill the memo with 0 or whatever you like and works. And very important as mentioned already: try a small amount in case something's going wrong. Your public key seems to be fine -> you can double check it on cspr.live.
All done and it worked. It was the transfert ID, works perfectly with 0
I would delete your public key tbh except if you don't care of sharing it. It's not super secret or dangerous but connects it to your identity etc.
Glad to hear it Aziz.
Thanks for the reminder
