way it’s represented. Blockchain isn’t a computation device. It’s a database. It’s “programmable money.” That would mean it’s special purpose.
The designers of Bitcoin were focused on money.
The creators of Holochain are focused on expanding the abilities of humans to collaborate. BIG difference there. Which one sounds like it’s more “Turing complete?”
Holochain is programming pattern for distributed data integrity. It’s not a programming language per se. Just like HTTP is not a programming language. I do communications in HTTP & Holochain not calculations. The original question sounds like it came from ignorance. Fed by the pissing match; “My distributed computing method is better than yours.” It’s not a relevant question. Holochain is built for purpose. It fulfills that purpose. One that is more flexible than any blockchain. I hope this helps you respond to that question next time.
Thank you for the responses, really appreciate it
