with quantum computing attack? thanks
@kevinpurestake could you clarify this
i read that quantum computing can crack the bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I am not the tech guy, just worry and i am trying to figure it out
Moonbeam takes several measures to ensure the security of its network: Precompiled Contracts: Moonbeam uses precompiled contracts, which are Solidity interfaces that allow developers to access Substrate-based functionality through the Ethereum API. However, developers need to be aware of some unintended consequences that might arise from their use. More details can be found in the Security Considerations guide. ( https://docs.moonbeam.network/builders/get-started/eth-compare/security) Randomness: Moonbeam has security considerations for randomness. For instance, it's critical that the fulfillRandomness method can only be directly called by the RandomnessConsumer.sol contract's rawFulfillRandomness method. More details can be found here. (https://docs.moonbeam.network/learn/features/randomness/) Precompile Registry: The Precompile Registry serves as a single source of truth for the available precompiles on Moonbeam. It can be used to determine if an address corresponds to a precompile and whether or not a precompile is active or deprecated. More details can be found here.( https://docs.moonbeam.network/builders/pallets-precompiles/precompiles/registry/) Delegated Proof of Stake: Moonbeam uses a Delegated Proof of Stake system through the Parachain Staking Pallet, which enforces shared risk/reward on chain between delegators and candidates. More details can be found here. (https://docs.moonbeam.network/builders/pallets-precompiles/precompiles/staking/) Proxy Precompile: The Proxy Precompile on Moonbeam allows accounts to set proxy accounts that can perform specific limited actions on their behalf, such as governance, staking, or balance transfers. More details can be found here. (https://docs.moonbeam.network/builders/pallets-precompiles/precompiles/proxy/) Bug Bounty Program: Moonbeam has a bug bounty program that encourages users to submit any errors to the smart contract, blockchain, web, or application code that may be found. More details can be found here. (https://moonbeam.network/builders/contribute/)
thanks for help me, but i dont see information about quantum resistance of moonriver. Sorry, I am just an average guy with keyword search.
I tagged Kevin, let's wait for his response. Also we have a dev channel in Moonbeam Discord called #builders, where you can ask dev related questions - https://discord.gg/moonbeam
