the value would be less than the gas in the future? Am I missing something?

Is it because eth has maintained its value better than ehex? So for future ‘end stake’ we need ehex to be healthier than eth?
Do not quote me on this but I have read that the way your stake reward gets calculated it goes through each day of the stake which makes fees more expensive. ETH foundation and Vitalik are also greedy which makes things worse they could easily softfork into lower fees. PulseChain devs could have made the HEX fork with a better way to calculate the stake that was a missed opportunity but maybe it would have introduced bugs who knows.
Gas price is decided collectively by network users, as it is auction based. Contracts can't predict human behavior. Make sure you don't forget to endstake on Pulsechain.

The calculations in the HEX contract are already very gas consumption efficient. I doubt anyone could squeeze them a few more %.
I am novel to HEX staking where do you recommend staking PulseChain HEX or Ethereum HEX once I enter these token. I know I am playing with fire trying to time this market I let global liquidity guide me I have decided to work with that framework.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI_Df45cMuQ https://hexicans.info/shares/ When you stake HEX you burn that HEX in exchange for shares. Those shares are used by the contract to reward you your portion of daily interest and early end stake/late unstake penalties. Then when your stake is mature, you end stake, which dissolves your shares in exchange for minting your HEX which will be your original principal + all interest, penalties earnt whilst being staked. T-shares = terra shares or 1 trillion shares. Effective HEX uses your longer pays better and bigger pays better bonuses to compute your shares for the stake. Share price only goes up because reducing shares for new guys is the same mathematically as compounding shares for old guys. It's computationally more efficient and makes a cool chart. Share price has no direct relationship to price on exchange, though since shares become more scarce than HEX, there is probably some influence.
Does this apply to hex on all chains
Thank you for your advice. I’m afraid I can’t end stake on PLS as I used Staker app and it won’t let me change network. I’ve tried to contact Stef but no answer. I would have used Icosa app but they can’t connect to ‘wallet connect’ anymore and it seems I just have to dilute the stakes.

Unfortunately, I'm not informed what is going on with Staker. I hope they soon fix whatever is wrong, but can't really help you. The reason I never even considered using Staker for staking is because they provided no option to use a hardware wallet thus making it totally useless. They never even issued a desktop version. Quite a big disappointment, to be honest.
In terms of e-hex peice the price of ether had to be $80 atm but its at $1640 🙄
