Even Sad Birdie gets it lol. I was willing to point it out and let it go: "Life goes on, but it was poor communications. Let's move on to Mainnet and actual use. The past is done and the future looks exciting." Should have been left there. Calling me out when I had the receipts was not a good move.
Sad Birdy gets an investor of the month award
Community testing did occur before the audits, nearly three weeks in fact. I would go as far as to say that Community Member #3 is a tester; he's been around since the beginning. We also have others who have been huge supporters since 2019.
You are just playing games with semantics. The "community testing" you are saying took place was not the group of "community testers". The group of 20 or so specifically put together for testing was never used. A few admin/mods were recruited on a moment's notice and circumvented the community testing process that was set up for months. It is okay that things changed. Just acknowledge "the plan" changed and it would have been proper to communicate that to the people who were waiting for many months.
They were actually a part of the group of 20 🤷♂️
Deflection and denial are unbecoming an official community spokesperson: "We had a successful demo and walkthrough yesterday with a small group and are now getting them started on testing the protocol this week. After this phase is complete, we'll be looking forward to getting all of you started!" It was clearly stated that this small group was NOT the community testing planned for months and that group was to begin afterwards. I think you are a good developer advocate and bring energy to the project, but I sincerely hope you work on your communication skills regarding the community and its members. Please accept this constructive criticism in the spirit it is intended. Sometimes it is okay to just say, "Yeah, I could have communicated better to that group" and move on. Better days ahead and we can all move on to a great week for the ecosystem with a lot of positive exposure.
If I could vote you out of being a tester, I would.
No one messes with big Al. He’s big.
So your upset that the full 20 was not used? So they used a portion of that 20 (communicated to the full 20), to do some testing. Your just upset that it wasn’t communicated 100% in your eyes?
We are all here because we believe in this project and see a great future with it. I think @halfaglass is being completely reasonable. He’s just expressing the general feeling of 90% of the community. With that being said it’s pretty clear that the communication on the part of the team has been very lackluster since the beginning. We can rightfully complain about this especially since so many people here are 90%+ down.
Ser please stop it with the facts
Regardless, we’re all in the same boat. Doesn’t help targeting the one person that has always been straight with us. Again, not that we are owed anything. @bubby_io and @TYLERSPALDING both doing a Sterling job and shouldn’t be targeted with “constructive criticism” / FUD when they are working tirelessly around the clock on the project that will change the way DeFi is seen around the world. Take a bow boys. 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
they are taking SEC very seriously and won't do anything that imapcts their legal strategy, which they can't about with "non existent investors" semantics, optics and positioning matter when one day you need Congress to do you a solid and pass productive crypto legislation
