It's already been said by the community. Generally, the perception is that if you are happy with how things currently are, then you would vote for no change. You have to remember that the reward pot for COTI APY paid out is the same no matter how it is divided by base/multiplier or boost. So we are voting if we want change and if we do then how we all want the reward pot to be divided. If you want change, then you would vote for it; if not, you vote for no change. If you want to change and vote for a higher gCOTI APY, it means a lower base APY for everyone but a higher boost for the majority in the treasury who hold gCOTI. If you want to change and vote for a lower gCOTI APY, it means a higher base APY for everyone but a lower boost for the majority in the treasury who hold gCOTI. The positive of change and an increase of APY is that many receive more APY than they currently receive . The opposite is true of lowering. so why would anyone vote to lower?? Because some thing that having a higher base is attractive to new users, and you only get a higher base by lowering boost. Hopefully the above helps. #StayCOTI

I know all this stuff! But i appreciate you explaining it this clear. But i think many people here took part in other votes proposals for other projects. Usually when there is a proposal … whoever proposes the vote gives an explanation about why they’re proposing it and the consequences. In this case the team decided “let make a vote about the Apy boost “ without informing the community what they wanna achieve. If this is the way that proposals will work then when community will be allowed to make proposals then someone could come up and say “ lets vote about 5000% apy boost“ without any reason and we gonna spend days debating about it again. you propose and you have to explain why… that the way that others “Daos” works Sorry for the repetitive proposal/ propose :)
